Tricia has been coaching for SIA since 2019. Along with being the gold group coach, she is the Southport High School Head Coach. Throughout the years, Tricia has coached athletes to divisional, state, and zone qualifications. Her time as a high school coach led athletes to county, conference, sectional and state finalists.

When Tricia is not on the deck coaching, she is a full-time Mechanical Engineer. Tricia has earned two bachelor degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Human Biology. Tricia interlocks her technical expertise with an analytical proficiency to formulate a foundation that allows athletes to succeed in all aspects of swimming.

Tricia's swim career started at the age of 8 in her home town of Orland Park, Illinois. Swimming for her club, she competed at divisional, state and zone levels. She then continued swimming throughout high school where she placed top 12 in the state for 100 backstroke. Tricia joined the University of Indianapolis Swimming and Diving team and fell in love with Indiana. One of Tricia's favorite things to do is weight lifting and pushing kids in the pool.

Emily Metheny Bronze Coach

Emily has been swimming since she was nine when she first joined the LaPorte Turbos Swim Club in La Porte, Indiana. She continued to swim for La Porte High School where she named an Academic All-American her senior year. Thanks to her coaches, Emily fell in love with the sport and began coaching for her club team while teaching swim lessons in the summer. Emily joined the first recruiting class for Franklin College swimming in 2011 and swam distance freestyle and the 200 fly for the Grizzlies. During the spring, she taught lessons for Franklin Parks and Rec until she went home for the summer and coached for Turbos. After college, Emily coached three seasons for Whiteland Hypersonics Swimming, and she began as the Copper Coach with SIA in 2017. Emily married her high school sweetheart Anthony in October 2016.
